The Implementation of the Common European Framework of Languages

This study assesses the implementation and use of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages in school books and curriculum development in secondary education modern foreign language learning.

In total six European countries were studied in depth. The research methods employed for this study included literature review, in-depth interview, and EU-level data collection from a large number of international sources ( including for instance Eurostat, OECD, and Eurydice).
